Terms and Conditions
1) Treatment Overview
Invisalign is a series of custom-made aligners that gradually shift teeth into place. The treatment requires adherence to a plan set by our dental team and includes regular scans via the Invisalign lens for Invisalign virtual care and periodic check-ups to monitor progress.
2) Treatment Eligibility
Only patients deemed suitable candidates by our dental professionals will be eligible for Invisalign treatment. Suitability is based on a clinical assessment, dental history, and specific orthodontic needs.
3) Patient Commitment
Patients must wear the aligners as prescribed, generally 20-22 hours per day, and follow all provided instructions. Non-compliance may affect the outcome and prolong the treatment duration.
4) Appointments and Check-Ups
Regular check-up appointments are required. Missing appointments may delay progress and incur additional costs. It is the patient’s responsibility to attend all scheduled appointments on time.
5) Treatment Duration
The duration of treatment varies per individual. Any estimated timeframe is a guideline; actual duration depends on the patient’s response to the aligners and adherence to the treatment plan.
6) Payment Terms
- A full breakdown of the cost will be provided before treatment begins.
- Payment plans may be available; please discuss options with our administrative staff.
- Failure to adhere to the payment schedule may result in treatment suspension until accounts are settled.
7) Refund Policy
Invisalign treatment is a personalised service and, as such, fees are generally non- refundable once treatment begins. Exceptions are at the discretion of the practice and will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
8) Potential Risks and Limitations
Invisalign is designed to be safe; however, there may be minor risks or side effects, including temporary discomfort, pressure, or difficulty speaking. We cannot guarantee results, as they depend on patient compliance and unique dental conditions.
9) Patient Responsibilities
- Wear aligners as directed
- Maintain good oral hygiene throughout the treatment.
- Follow any care instructions provided by our staff to avoid damage to the aligners.
10) Treatment Discontinuation
The practice reserves the right to discontinue treatment if the patient does not adhere to the outlined responsibilities, including attendance, aligner usage, and payment schedule.
11) Limitation of Liability
Our practice and its staff are not liable for adverse outcomes arising from patient non-compliance, undisclosed medical conditions, or external factors impacting the effectiveness of the treatment.
12) Privacy and Data Use
Personal and medical information will be used only to administer treatment and as required for administrative purposes, following privacy regulations.
13) Amendments
The practice reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any updates will be communicated to current patients as applicable.
